Young Entrepreneurs Leadership Academy  (Y.E.L.A)

Empowering Tomorrow’s Business Leaders

Program Overview

The Young Entrepreneurs Leadership Academy is an immersive 8 to 10-month experience designed to cultivate the next generation of Hispanic leaders. Through hands-on learning, one-on-one mentorship, and professional exposure, this program equips HHSF Scholars with the tools to lead with confidence and purpose.

All HHSF Scholars are enrolled in the Academy and will participate in one of two tracks:

Entrepreneurship Track:

Students will develop and refine their own business ideas. The top five entrepreneurs will present their plans to a panel of local investors and community leaders in a live pitch event.

Leadership Track:

Students will take part in job shadowing opportunities at top companies across Central Florida, gaining behind-the-scenes insight into leadership roles and workplace culture.

Each student is expected to be fully engaged throughout the program, with a maximum of one excused absence from their assigned track sessions.
